Objetive:
This is one of three tutor-lead skills courses
aimed at managers, executives and professionals working in any sector who need to improve
their communication skills in English for presentations, negotiations or meetings. Each
course is for closed groups and lasts 16 hours.
The primary aim of the presentations course is to help all professionals who have
to attend or give presentations in English. A secondary function of the course is to
review and practise the art of presenting. For those participants who are new to this
skill this is an opportunity to learn the basics of successful presentations; for those
with more experience it is the moment to review how well you communicate when presenting.
Course
Design:
The presentation usually follows an accepted
structure and the course has been designed within this structure and identifies all the
key language that you will need to prepare and deliver a successful presentation in
English.
Method:
This skills course focuses on improving the
ability to communicate in English in the specific area of presentations. A wide range of
teaching materials and methods is used to ensure that the course is both relevant and
enjoyable. Essential language is presented and the course participants have the
opportunity to practise each part of the presentation separately before giving a complete
presentation which is recorded and analysed.

- Involving the Audience and Creating
Rapport.
- Delivery.
- Techniques.
- Voice Quality.
- Visual Aids.
- Survival Tactics.
Level:
Taking into account the characteristics of the course participants should
have an intermediate or upper-intermediate level of English.

16 hours.

By agreement.
Place: At
the company premises or at King's Training (Madrid/Barcelona).
Timetable:
By agreement, with a minumum of 4 hours per day.
Group:
Between 6 and 10 participants.
