Objetive:
This is one of four tutor-lead courses which
provide the participants with the opportunity to improve their linguistic skills in the
areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. The course is designed for professional
people who have reached an intermediate level of English and who need to up-grade their
ability to communicate orally in a variety of business situations.
Method:
Business Speaking Skills makes use of a wide range of teaching materials
and methods to ensure that each part of the course is both relevant and enjoyable. Both
audio and video material are used throughout the course in addition to video-camera
recordings. In order to ensure optimum use of the available time and at the same time
maximum variety and enjoyment, there is a team of teachers, with changes every two or
three sessions, according to the format of the course.
The material is
focussed on the subjects that have greatest relevance for professional people in the
international workplace. The following areas are included:
- Social English for the Business Traveller.
- In the office – Funcional Language.
- Language for the telephone and conference
calls.
- Control language for meetings.
- Language for communicating – language
field to be chosen from:
- Marketing.
- Human Resources.
- Customer Service.
- Finance.
- Strategy.
- E-commerce.
Level:
Taking into account the characteristics of the course participants should
have an intermediate or upper-intermediate level of English.
Course Length:
16 hours.
Date:
By agreement.
Place:
At the company premises or at King's Training
(Madrid/Barcelona).
Timetable:
By agreement, with a minumum of 4 hours per day.
Group:
Between 4 and 8 participants.
Price:
1.800 €. The price includes all the materials and the final assessment, which will
be given to the participants at the end of the course.
